Mini event: defeat Manthor

A mage went beserk - he's hiding in the hills north of Cove in Felucca, not far from the magic passage. You will get nice rewards if you manage to kill him - but be careful, he can be a real pain.

PS: if nobody manages to kill him, I will start giving out clues at the end of the week.

His weakness has something to do with his ears.

His ears - it's about what he hears. The weakness is actually not so rare among mythical monsters.

To say it in another term, you need to say a magic word near him to undo the spell which is keeping him vital.

The spell can be found in several kinds of mythology, middle earth, comic books, maybe even greek mythology...

I see you've finally defeated Manthor, well done!

Now, for a follow up puzzle. Why is he a Yetam?

(A reward of 10ED to whoever can find out). Hint, the trick is acutally the same as with Rothnam, erm, pardon, Manthor.

One question... according to the hint given, it said that weakness of the mage is somewhat common among the mythical monsters... Which i dont get it. By spelling their name in reverse?

Yes, it was spelling his name backwards, Manthor -> Rothnam. The next clue might be that it has something to do with Hillary (Rodham) Clinton :p

I got the idea from Agathor (Rothaga), which is an entity from middle earth, however I heard of it at this episode:
