"Democracy is a big part of our identity" is a true statement while not making the assertion that America is a democracy. If we pause to let reading comprehension mull things over a little instead of jumping to talking head quips, perhaps we could build a shard based on respect and love for our fellow mankind.

Also, thank you all for your votes... I am happy to represent you all for another year in our little corner of cyberspace.

I live in America where democracy is a big part of our identity so I guess I have strong feelings that each vote should be equal and not assigned value based on tenure or contribution.
