2010 Halloween House Decorating Contest

Yes and it was such a big hit last year I decided to bring it back!

A house decorating contest is truly a way for people to express their inspiration and creativity. There truly can be no losers and I encourage all you players to enter your homes. I do not mean toss a spiderweb in a corner and enter the home that is not decorating. So, Lets get decorating and see all your crazy, creative and spooky ideas :> +
BTW you are allowed one home and yes if they are connected it is one home but I do not want 5 runes to 5 different spots or I will have to choose which to enter.


There will be a box beside a gate in TC, where you will drop a rune to your home when you are ready for people to see it and judge it. The gate will lead to the Halloween Gate Mansion where you will be able to walk in gates to peoples homes to see them.




The winning votes will be counted from 1/2 staff and 1/2 players. (All votes will be supervised by +Colibri)


Prizes will be as follows:

1st place: Bank stone for your house
2nd place: NPC vendor of your choice for your house (except bankers and breeders)
3rd place: An Ankh for your house


All other participants will receive gift bags with some nice items in them. So remember EVERYONE is a winner and you willl all be rewarded that enter the contest.

Contest ends Oct 29th 3pm shard time (9AM EST) all votes will be counted and winners will be announced that on Oct 30th sometime within the day on here and on the Town Crier.

Wait to vote until its close to the end so it will be fair some are still decorating or have not entered yet!
Voting is here. Players Must list 3 different people, one per a category. If you vote for just one name, your vote will be null and void so please follow the rules.

Houses will be judged on:
1. Best Overall
2. Most themed
3. Creativity

So correct me if im wrong but it goes like this;

1st place = Best overall
2nd place = Most themed
3rd place = Most creative

Is that it? Or are there 3 winners per category?

There will be 3 winners. One winner in each category .

1st place = Best overall say Joe Whatever, is voted in this category 44 times and being voted most times in this , he would win
the first place prize because Best overall is the category I chose for first place.
2nd place = Most themed 2nd would bed person that gets most votes in this catagory and so on.,,,,
3rd place = Most creative
