Scheduled downtime

Post by +Colibri »

Just got a note from the power company, that on tuesday, August 22th, there will be disruptions in the power supply (mostly no power at all), from about 3am till 6am. Because that's just in the middle of the night, i expect the shard to be shut down at 1am, and be started up again at 9am.

In US-Eastern, that translates to: from August 21st 7pm, to August 22nd, 3AM.

I apologize for the inconveniance.

Unfortunately you have no control over the power company.. therefore, no apology needed, silly

I will say, withdrawal is setting in.. I will be filing a formal complaint with your power company.. I will be expecting compensation for damages... :D lol

See you tomorrow!

hehe i'm glad at least some of us broke that all-uo routine.

well i woke up as planned, but seems like this hardware isnt used to beeing without power (was powered non stop for some 3 years now), so there was more to that than just turning on the switch, but it's on now.

with some upgrades i might have even busted that lost packages dealy it's been having the past month. we'll see.
