Scripting Co-Op Group

+C has given approval for me to start a scripting cooperative group on the forums that will primarily focus on scripts we need for the facets. This is happening on a very tentative trial basis, with one script as the goal. If someone manages to create this script acceptably and in a reasonable amount of time, then +C will approve a small list of scripts to be created in this way. If nobody is able to create the requested script to an acceptable level of completion and functionality, then this idea will be scrapped.

Everyone can view the scripting forum, which is located under the Development sub-forum, titled "Facets Scripting"; but only members of the scripting group can post or reply in it. If you would like to help with scripting items for the facets, you may apply as follows:

1. Create a small script for a deed which will set the player's "title" property to "Champion of Excelsior". The deed should be able to be added using the [add menu, named "ChampionTitleDeed". The deed should be itemid 5360 hue 2635 and named "Title Change Deed".
2. Email your script to nyx@uoex.net along with your in game character name and your forum username.

Please note that if you are not able to submit a fully working script within these parameters, you do not have anywhere near the level of skill required to assist with these projects and will not be permitted to participate. This 'test script' is the absolute most basic type of script possible, most of the work that this group will do if it is successful will be much, much more complicated.
