Earlier this morning, Bengals WR Chris Henry tragically passed away from severe injuries resulting from falling out of the bed of his own pickup late last night.
According to early reports, his fiancee and he, had an altercation and when she tried to leave, he jumped into the bed of the truck and at some point fell out. He was found along the roadway by a neighbour roughly 1/2 a mile from his home.
I won't say my own theory in the matter, except that there were homicide detectives called to the scene. Also, please note, his "fiancee" was not at the scene when they arrived.

I'm a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.. I bleed green some say.. but it still saddens me to see someone such as Chris Henry, who was only 26, lose his career, and his life this way.
In January of 2007, Darrent Williams, a cornerback for the Denver Broncos was murdered in his limo after leaving a party with some friends.
Later that same year, in November, Redskins Safety Sean Taylor was shot in his own home, and succumbed to injuries the following day.
-Marquise Hill, DE, New England Patriots (Drowned after his boat capsized at sea - 2007)
-Damien Nash, RB, Denver Broncos (Collapsed after a basketball charity event - 2007)
-Marquis Cooper, LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Lost at sea - 2009)
-Corey Smith, DE, Detroit Lions (Lost at sea with Cooper, above - 2009)
Those are just a few talented, young players who lost their lives to the most ridiculous things. It disgusts me to see that in just 3 short years, 3 players have been murdered. Sean Taylor and Darrent Williams both lost their lives to arrogant, envious, and cold-blooded murderers. For what purpose? No one knows..
I'm sorry if this post seems morbid.. but for those of us who LOVE the NFL, please pay your respects to the late Chris Henry. Even if you don't watch football, he is/was a human, just the same as you and me.
He had amazing talent both on and off the field.. I think, that this little excerpt, best describes it all:
"Too many times, a gifted person comes along, and we automatically make them a role model. Inevitably, they end up doing something to let us down. The truth is, though, that those were never the role models we needed. The role models we need are the people who let us down first, and then show the strength and character to fight back from that.
Sooner or later, we're all going to let somebody down. We're all going to screw up. But life is about how you come back from it, how you learn from it and how you use it to make yourself a better, stronger person.
Chris Henry was becoming that guy. And we could have used that."
