Well, it's a great idea until you realize that it with today's technology it will not give performance that parallels even a low end smart phone. The main problem with it is that the delay between components would be far greater than is tolerable. Reason being is the location and way the components would be hooked up will put certain components further from other ones than is standard on any phone in use today. There's other problems with it, but this is the largest one. I still love the idea and hope that it one day becomes a reality. Dropping $700+ every year or two is awful.

I usually don't buy my phones outright. i wait and get a good deal. but right now i'm on my family's contract with at&t and i can't stand them. i had a nice android htc one x plus and they kept billing us. i think they charged us near 700 dollars twice within the same week. both times said it was an accident.
so when the contract is up. i'm having them drop me, because verizon will give me a discount plan for myself because of where i work.

Down with communications companies! Just a piece of information: Here in Spain, mobile operators are BY FAR the companies that get the more costumers complaints for fraud and "accidental" mistakes in bills ¬_¬ not to mention their outrageous fares...

Anyways, hope the idea from the video gets some attention from the public. Last time i saw it it was over 13 mil views...

Good idea, hope to see it come true in the future
