That's really sweet, but its not an issue of not having the money, haha. Our salaries work like this: we get paid by the month. A very good living for us with two paychecks. Now, we don't get salaries in the summer holidays as we don't work. So, if classes end in June, we get our paycheck in July, but not August. We begin work in August/September, but there's a delay. So, if I start work in August, I get paid for working August in September. So we're not broke, just watching things carefully until October, when we both get full salaries for September! =D You guys are so awesome, really! I've never had the opportunity to share my work, so its a labor of love that is really enjoyed, even the frustrating parts XD

Oh well I can't help myself. I'm just a generous person by nature, always trying to pay it forward and such. I googled the markers you were talking about and the first set I saw was some deluxe set listed at like 89.99 usd and was all like for markers???

I just want to warn you about setting up a go fund me page it is best to just send it another way the person that sets up the page is tax liable for all the funds raised by the page and will get an irs statement for it and will be expected to claim it as income....I think she does amazing work don't get me wrong but there might be a better way of doing this that does not kill the generous nature of what your trying to do! Think I may need to do a sitting next AMAZING work

I was actually thinking along the lines of Tredin. What if we were to purchase Amazon gift cards and pm the codes fom the back to Adelia. Not sure about shipping to China, but $10 or so from a few peeps could keep her in pencils and markers while we enjoy her hard work. Or any type of gift cards that would allow her to get the necessary items. Any thoughts......

Argh, you guys are making me sound a bit like a snob, but I can't take any RL money, ever. I don't want to. =P not for supplies or drawings, haha. I enjoy playing the game, talking to people, and being part of the community. Sure, it takes abit for me to get a really good set of colors, BUT I think its worth the wait, because I get time to PLAY! haha

As I said, its a labor of love! I watch Top Chef or chat in game while drawing, and I love it so much =D As soon as I can, I'll try to start a regular comic series, maybe one or two full size comics a week. I'd like to hear ideas on storylines, actually, because while one-shot comics are fun, it would be nice to put together a storyline that involves our community =D That way, more can contribute and feel like a part of the project!

Back to the drawing board! XD

Is that a beach? you live near a beach? I would be swimming every day if I lived near a beach! I love water IRL, but video games where you have to swim or go in water terrify me. I know I can swim and do fine in water, but video game characters have such a high chance of dying in water, and many times there is a bar indicating how far you have til death. I hate it. XD

But always loved swimming IRL

yup, the whole province is surrounded by ocean, Adelia, it's beautiful; this is the same beach, further down, where they do kite surfing

and this is the seaside farmers market near my apartment that I go to every Saturday morning, there are tons of local foods served too so you can have breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean
