Has anyone here ever set up a proxy server? I have been trying to set one up for the last few days using different methods i read about online but failed miserably. everytime i would do it i would get a message like "connection refused". do any of you guys know how to solve this? here it the last method that i used. http://www.linquist.net/geek/proxy. I can post pics and stuff if you guys need info about my pc

o yeah i get that message when i try to click open on putty when it first starts to load in the command prompt not when i configure it with firefox

Well, I'm not sure i can provide much help, could take hours for me to first find what's causing your problem and then fix it. If you're using this proxy service, i think that even if it's just trial, you should have some support (they probably want their trials to work so that people will buy the real thing )
