I just love to see it when someone tries to argue their point when they have done something wrong and the first thing they throw is that they were in the military. Actually posers like that piss me off, being a retired military vet and having served in several theaters of war it is a slap in the face when i see that.
Sincerely,
Whitenight USN (retired and proudly wearing my purple heart)

I completely agree. I have never served myself, but I have a friend who is practically my little brother currently in Bahrain. My best friend's husband was a Marine. All of my grandparents (I had 8

) and almost all of my father's side of the family have served, including my aunt who was in the Navy for years. None of them ever brag about it or use it as a crutch. Not
ever. My grandfather served in
two wars and he has rarely ever spoken about any aspect of his service, much less bragged or used it as an excuse. I am quite sure my 97 year old grandda would cane-slap somebody for doing it in his presence
But hey while we're on the topic of military service, I want to say thank you to any and all who have served or are serving.

Speaking of military service members, i am proud to have served in the US Army.
One should keep these words in mind; brought to me by Dave Ramsey Show via twitter:
