Kinda of a dramatic title huh?Sorry about that. I havn't bought a new comic book in afew years and my collection lays protected in their meylar bags in a box, but I still read my comics once in awhile to rember my childhood and keep my creative side alive.Today however I'm afraid of some rather sad comic book history. The Marvel character/hero Captian America is dead. Now I know that comic characters are make believe and "die" all the time to keep the plots twisting and turning. However, from inside reports they actually plan on keeping Captian America dead.

The article I saw was on the Boston.com article http://www.boston.com/yourlife/articles ... o_a_friend

and at www.marvel.com

Still a character that has been around since the 1940's and on his very first issue punched Adolf Hitler needs some creadit. Imagine making up a character that lives in a piece of pop culture. So good bye Captian America.A true comic hero and natural hero. The real world could use more heros.

Unfortunately, everything that was once born, someday dies. That way it makes room for other characters for us to admire... I'm sorry you lost your hero. :(

Maybe they will change their minds in 10 years.
