would like some pet leveling details please.

after reading the information about pet leveling, i still would like some information that is not quite clear to me.
for example i have a Cu Sidhe.
currently he (she?) is at 21 level.
does that mean that his max damage is now unlocked and he can start increasing his hit points?
if i can get him past level 39, will he actually be able to increase his STR, INT, and DEX?

when i open the NPC window i don't see any buttons that i can click on that the pet leveling document mentions.

I have searched for more detailed information on this in the Forums but can't find any.
i am new to this forum and would appreciate it if someone could help me understand this in more detail.

It seems that your pet is already maxxed out. When you go to your pet info and it says exp 0 then you cannot add ability points to your pet anymore. If your pet is not maxxed out... when you reach certain experience points and you go to your pet info gump you will notice a red diamond on the lower right and when you click on that you can add ability points to the str/dex/int/resist/min/max

but if my pet is now maxed out at 21, how do i reach over 39 as the taming leveling papers says so i can unlock its stats?
is there only some pets that can reach higher than 21 level?
or does it mean that i can change the stats or damage type levels.(like more fire and less physical damage.) but not more overall damage or resisances.

Need to breed to get higher level pets, the higher the level (not sure if generation counts) the more points you have to distribute to be able to max out the animals stats to cap. And I dont think we can change the damage types, but resistances cap at around 75%.

Generation is just a way to keep people from breeding the same line of pets indefinitely. At gen 10 or lvl 43 (whichever is reached first) a pet is considered "too advanced to breed". It doesn't affect the points gained per level or anything like that.

Also note that even if a pet has a max level of 45, it can still breed as long as it's current level is 42 or lower and it meets the other requirements (at least currently lvl 9, has available breeds, is gen 9 or lower). If you go ahead and level that same pet to 43+, it will be too advanced.
