Cant "Connect"

I can log in,but then i freeze...cant move or see players names around me...
help?
dont know much about computers so need detailed info how to fix this...
few of my friends are looking for a new shard and im the test bunny....

read the wiki and search the forums its kinda confusing to connect to this shard but well worth the effort

he's either 1) using a different client making him crash. 2) using a different static.mul file from another shard also making him freeze and crash. go to the dl section of this site and dl the whole package and replace it with your old uo file. might clear things up if you start from scratch.
