'Young' Status : GM Help?

I started my account here a couple of weeks ago, but due to some technical issues with getting the game and respective programs set up (Razor and UOAM), along with some unexpected real-life time constraints, I haven't been able to play as yet. I'm still standing in the start area. I will be able to starting tonight (4/27 here EST), but I logged in and noted that my 'Young' status had already expired without me ever availing myself of it's perks. I wonder if it is possible to restart that clock, if I page a GM or something in-game?

Unfortunately no, we aren't able to modify young status.

Perhaps I could then have my account deleted so I can recreate it, and my character, fresh?

I recall a similar situation and the answer was "No." You can try, but don't get your hopes up. Instead you might want to try and play the game instead. Starting out without the young status is not impossible or even very hard. It just adds a bit of a challenge. Plus I'm sure there are people out there who can help you out on your way.

ps. Mining and Lumberjacking are good ways to earn some money and require almost no investment to start. You will need time and patience though.
