I still feel like I'm doing things wrong and would greatly appreciate some advice!
I'm currently using 4 nobles and a mule. I have pretty newbish gear, with a 70s suit, full LRC, maxxed out in DI and HCI, have some SSI, LMC and SDI, relatively low HPs and a limited amount of mana regen.
I can easily farm balrons (can kill paragon balrons pretty easily). Today for the first time I completed the key for Lady Melisande and killed her. A few things: getting the key was harder than she was. I had a rough go when I entered the Blighted Grove with all the stuff at the entrance there. I think going forward, I'm better off stealthing to Lady Mel's portal and then getting my pets out there and working my way backwards? Also, on Lady Mel, is it worth kiling the satyrs or should I just be spamming my pet attack and clicking her target window and ignore the peacemaking? I felt like I fell behind in healing my pets by killing the satyrs and I had a hard time pulling up their target windows at times.
Speaking of windows, is there an easier way to pull up pet windows? Every time I move between areas they all seem to disappear and it's a pain in the neck to get them to pop back up again. I've been using "all pets stop" and then dragging their windows back up as they start to walk away. It seems very inefficient.
I also tried to get EasyUO going with Blazn's pet fightr script. I loaded EasyUO with UO already running, copied in the script as was instructed, and hit Play.... nothing. It doesn't seem to respond at all. Not sure what I'm doing wrong there either.
Anyhow, I feel like I'm kind of mashing my way into relative early success through brute force and fairly good reflexes. I'm imagining I'm doing this totally wrong though!
Thanks for any help/advice.
OK, so now that I have a few weeks under my belt...
Re: OK, so now that I have a few weeks under my belt...
i dont use blazes pet fighter so i cant help you there.
as for the saytrs its really up to you wether u kill them during the fight or concentrate on ur pets. you have plenty of time to kill it all before your timer runs out.
yes blighted grove has always been one of the harder places to enter due to the buildup in the entrance.
as far as an easier way to bring up ur pet health bars click ctrl+shift. pull the first bar from its name. then right click that name off the next pets name will be on top, repeat until u have all your pets names up.

Thanks for the right click tip! Helps a lot.
I had a hard time keeping my pets alive on the hardmode Melisande earlier. What's the best way to not run out of mana? Mana regen? Or LMC?

Combination of the above. 120 Meditation (Medable gear/Mage Armor is a must), 120 focus. Having decent LMC and Mana Regen also does help, though I personally managed without bumping either. Also it's good to 120 Spirit Speak since it does make [cs touchoflife a bit more powerful = less casts, less mana used. You can also try using [cs sacredboon - while the immediate healing is less than touch of life it heals for a certain period of time for a combined heal IIRC twice as strong as that of touch. And don't try to heal every tiny bit of damage possible - using a spell on a noble with 995/1000hp is a waste of mana. Wait until enough damage has been taken for all the healing power to be used.

Not much help I can give you on that one, been a long time since I ran with pets and I never had such an issue. But try running your game without EUO, Razor and/or AssistUO. If the problem persists try a fresh install of UO (preferably download the prepatched UOEX client). If the health bars stay open on a clean run then try the other programs one by one to figure out which one is the problem. I'd bet on AUO, since it's the most bug-ridden, but it might be a weird Razor issue as well. Or something completely unrelated.
