I will be called "Midge" in game. I work away from home and after my old UO server closed, i got the uo bug again i can't stay away. I created an account on "away from home" machine running vista. NP worked perfect. But returning home and trying to run on a win8.1 machine, i had to run in compatibility mode, increase my virtual memory 5X too what is was but eventually i got Excelsior to run. My problem is it does not recognize my account i created (i meet a couple old friends on the shard and am eager to get back into the UO life in a new world!)
Maybe cos i was desperate to login in and just tried to create a new account (different ip) just to ask the gods for help login in or delete/reset my account so i can make a new one.
All i get is "verifying account" forever. After 2 hours of trying to login i probably made things worse trying combinations in desperation.
I have used the same account name and password since, errm, ermm, 1998, just before tram came out. so unlikely i forgot my name PW etc
Can anyone tell me why i can not log in, i am 100% i using the same user name and PW, or can the Gods wipe the accounts "gothmog" "gothmoghome" gothmoghome 2" so i can re-create it? My real name is lee witchell and email lee.witchell@gmail.com . obviously i will supply the password i used via email as i might -ve karma and trying to wipe someone elses account
