chat color
is there a way to change the color of chat on my screen? it's kinda hard to read

If you mean world chat, yes there is. Type: [co, click system, click public, and select the color you would like.

How about in game text? The words I type that appear above my head. I've tried going into options and picking a new colour, however it doesn't seem to change anything.

Theres 2 ways to do this.
1st:
1) click options
2) select the eye looking thing (2nd down on right hand side)
3) scroll down, click SPEECH COLOR, and select the color you want
2nd:
1) type: [co
2) click misc
3) check the box that says "Override speech hue"
4) click where it says "Overhead" and select the color you would like

From personal experience, most people choose the face looking icon on the lower left, and change their CHAT COLOR, which isn't the same thing, as the option i listed you to try.Melkor wrote:Thank you +R, I've tried option 1 but it doesn't seem to work for me. Nope, I dont think there is. You'll have to try a few times to find a hue that fits you.
