Hi All,
My in-game name is Pawpy. I have just started playing again after 3+ years of being away. I immediately read through the Wiki and started to read through some of the Forum posts. I have forgotten a lot of how to play on this Shard and what I was working towards when I last played.
When I logged on, I still have my 4 mules (I remember using them for farming Champs and spawns, etc) and 1 albino squirrel. I believe when I got him, he had very low stats (and still does). I remember having an Apiary in my house as well as growing plants and thorns/petals, etc. But I no longer have that home. Guessing it decayed and collapsed. I do have some left over trinkets and artys in my bank and was looking into leveling up some crafting skills and maybe start hunting for seeds again (loved the Ant quests).
I was hoping I could get some feedback or suggestions on what I should be doing at this stage of the game with the pets and gear I have (I can provide screenshots later, currently at work) and if anyone could show me some dungeons or Champs that may be good for me to participate in with my current stage in the game. Or if there is any industry/role needing more help in (crafting, alch, etc) that I could assist in.
Thanks for any feedback and suggestions. Really looking forward to playing here again and being a part of the Shard!

Hello Pawpy
Glad you are here and plan on staying for a while. Some changes that will (probably) affect you based on where you described where you are in the game based on equipment, pets, and play style.
Ointments are now dirt cheap (300-600 not 7,200) so it is MUCH easier to fully oint a imp then before though regents are still kinda pricey.
Lady mel now has a ticket system (gather some items get the ticket then fight her) so, farming her for more imps is more troublesome but, the fight is still the same if you want to farm her and train some crafting skills her spawn timer is about 15-18 minutes. There are LOTS of seeds in that dungeon if that's what you are into.
Gauntlet now requires a Golden Skull for every round (not just to cross the river) and you only have 20 minutes to finish the round so it is MUCH harder for new/lower midlevel players to farm for gold and arties with a mule pack because you probably cant finish the round in time Solo. however, give it a try and see how you do or throw in with someone who just wants a chance at Arites too. Usually, you let whoever paid for the round (with the skull) do the gold looting with [Claim as there are no loot on the bodies worth picking up and you need to move kinda fast now with the time limit. you get about 28k gold back each round and a gold scull cost between 40-55k or you can gather the bones and kill the bone demon on your own for free.
Gauntlet arities Spirit of Totum, Bone crusher are Massively expensive right now so if you get one selling it can really boost your gear/money. (SOT-7-9 million, Bone Crusher 8-11 million) Jackels collar is still needed but does not fetch as much as it used to most go for 800k-2 million most being lower.
Look into doing the GOC quest, it is very fun and a good way to explore the world and the gear is pretty good. Doing the GOC quest really helps you evolve your play and fighting style I highly recommend it.
If you ever need help you have questions PM me and ill do what I can.

Re: Returning Player after 3+ years
Hi Nick,
Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated. I'm still not familiar with all of the IMP stat raising with ointments, etc. But I will read up on it. Lady Mel sounds like a fun dungeon and I could definitely use the seeds. Think I would be able to get through it solo with my setup? I remember doing Guantlet a few times, so maybe I can start there.
Is GOC quest pretty difficult for my stage in the game? Or should I be able to solo?
Thanks again!

Re: Returning Player after 3+ years
you can do about 90% of the goc as a fairly newer player if you have mules or nobles, archery and the willingness to play around with your tactics and work at it to succeed. a few parts you will need a partner to help you out, while you can kill proxy with just a mule pack you will take a lot of stat loss and take forever to do it successfully better to just have older (in the game) buddy help you over the humps.

Great, thanks for the tips and feedback!
