Steam and Orion Help

I have a problem with Steam. It gets to the UO login screen I enter the pw and then it gets stuck. I've researched the problem but nothing I've done works. I can't seem to set Steam to run as admin, and I've tried almost everything I've found online. So I decided to try Orion but I cna't even get a good download off the website. Razor works for me, but I'm not a big fan of it. I can also log in to UO
normally. Any help or advice wqould be appreciated.

If you are using the correct address…
shard.uoex.net, port 60
and it still isn’t, make sure your firewall isn’t blocking.
Mine did that to me the first time. If not,google giving admin rights in Win10. It will not run for me if no rights.

The address and port is correct. I turned off the firewall to see if it would load, but no luck there. I have admin rights. I've tried everything, even creating an inbound and outbound rule to allow steam. I've deleted and downloaded UO and Steam several tmes. I made sure I had Microsoft Vidual C++. Nothing is working.

Can you get into the game with a regular client though?
I'd like to know more about this issue, would you be willing to do a shared desktop session (with AnyDesk) so I can have a first-hand look?

Turned out to be a silly thing, but easily overlooked if you don't know the internal workings of the client-server communication.

For posterity, if anyone encounters a similar issue, the "Remove encryption" has to be enabled.
