Yeah, the resource plots here are 6x6 for ore, 4x4 for lumber. So when you mine that one square you're actually draining the whole 6x6 vein.Schwanke wrote:Problem though is soon as I finish mining one space it turns the entire radar RED. (not purple).
I noticed the red means depleted but the whole upper right hand corner 6x6 doesnt get depleted after finishing one does it?
Mining Radar?

Re: Mining Radar?
Ahh ok. Thanks. Actually turned out it was 8x8 but when you said it was 6x6 I finally realized what I was supposed to set to 6x6 even though it said it earlier in the thread. Again thanks.
Re: Mining Radar?
Yes, there are 14 ores here instead of 9.Schwanke wrote:This radar would be awesome for me if I could get it to work.
I can get it to mine and I setup the extra ores using the list on the wiki. I noticed the number in the script is the number of ores not including the unknown unless I got that wrong.
Yes, red means depleted. You can reset this with the Reset button, which will then show you what metal you got out of that resource square.Problem though is soon as I finish mining one space it turns the entire radar RED. (not purple).
I noticed the red means depleted but the whole upper right hand corner 6x6 doesnt get depleted after finishing one does it?. I even checked a mined a few over and it wasnt depleted unless I was misunderstanding the mapping. (Thinking maybe I was nuts and forgot how UO did mining.)
No, those are (theoretically) diggable spots in the 6x6 resource square. When you mine one out, the whole resource square is mined out.I would think since its got individual question marks for individual squares that you can mine them one by one to find whatever.
Anyway, so far it seems to be working properly for you. It just isn't working the way you expected.

Yup thanks. Figured all that out in the last post but the clarity I am sure will help someone else later. Sorry for not mentioning it clearly but hey more information for everyone the better.

Re: Mining Radar?
It isn't that easy to figure out this script compared to some others. I was confused with how to make it work with UOAM, but I finally noticed that I could just add the map file under the Files tab, and now I have little green triangles that give me the ore types on mouseover.
I still don't know what Razor is supposed to do with anything.
But it's nice for making rails ... I modified it to display the Z-axis (#CHARPOSZ) for pathfinding, and to use a Bag of Holding to dump ore into, and it works pretty well except it digs a bit slow.

Razor is what tells UOAM where you are standingTael wrote: I still don't know what Razor is supposed to do with anything.

Re: Mining Radar?
Ah, okay. I already had Razor going. I thought they were talking about some special tweak.

Re: Mining Radar?
i just downloaded CP mining radar and have no clue how to make it work. All the squares are purple. I have razor uoam running and thought i did everything right.. Just had a brain cramp trying to read all the posts on here as I am not a programmer or script writer.
Please help this soounds like a very useful tool and i would love to use it.

Re: Mining Radar?
Uhh, a completely working version of CP's radar, modified for EX is available in the Coding Talk section of the forums. No need to change anything.
