I had a question about placing houses however. I'm super old school UO...played beta, was in chessie and placed a zillion houses and the same rules there apply here except for one thing I'm unclear on:
On this shard if I personally place a house I'm able to nudge up to another house and leave 1 tile of space between the two on the east/west sides with 5 tiles of space north/south.
Looking at the wiki however and having a GM help move/place it states 6. The house cannot be too close to other houses, even if they are owned by the same player. There has to be a 2-tile walkable gap on east/north/west sides, and a 5-tile walkable gap on the south, between any two houses.
I understand this is probably for yard wand purposes, but it's a bit confusing especially if that 1 tile can make the difference between an awesomely placed keep/castle/whatever vs a sandstone cottage that I'll die alone in.

So the question is which is it...I guess the answer is...both?
