I wanted to get my stealing up put i dont know how. I tried the pickpocet dummy but it said i cant get my skill up past 30 or something like that. I cant so criminal acts so i cant steal off of people and i havent really tried stealing off of a monster. But does anyone have any guide or advice on this?

There's a couple relatively simple ways, involving fat piles of gold. One, stealing some from a pack animal, the other stealing from a locked down chest in your house (apartment, whatever you've got). Just put a big pile, say, 20-30k in whichever container, try to steal it, and put any gold you pick up back in the pile. If you're using razor, you should be able to automate that process, just record and press play. Leave it on overnight and you should get real close to 100, or 120 if you've used the right scroll.

Skill gains are based on item weight. If you max out on something that weighs 9 stones and you're at 100 skill(I don't remember exactly) you probably won't get gains as quickly. As best as I can remember the weight numbers are on stratics.

Is there a point to stealing on this shard since you can't steal from players ? can you get rare items from monsters or npcs maybe if you point rare or hard to find items on ncps that would be cool. Stealing is one of my fav skills and it's the only thing i don't like about this shard.

my quickie stealing guide/macro set up for razor
my olden days methods didn't seem to work out
so had to figure this out anyhow

I dropped 10k in my ships hold, no worries about someone coming by while I was afk & helping themselves or about the chest/whatnot fading way while I was away and stole from that. The rational behind it stealing gold from a pile is that you'll steal up to your maximum so no need to adjust the items/weight every 10 skill points.

I used razor for this macro
1. started record macro
2. used the skill steal to steal from the gold pile
3. took the proceeds & dropped it back in the pile in the ships hold
4. pressed stopped recording
5. then added a for loop I arbitrarily set it for 10 loops I made sure to move it to the top of the macro
6. added a End For & positioned it after the steal
7. added a pause between 10 seconds between the gold stealing target line & the lift gold to replace it in the hold
8. then I looped the whole thing by checking the box at the bottom of the window

I used it on a boat since I didn't have a house at the time but you can use it in your house with a secure container too I was told I would really recommend this euo script since I know (at least for myself) razor messes up with a lot of drag dropping but eh the script worked wonderfully and got me to 120
