Excelsior

I'm trying to figure out an efficient way to raise my bio pets magic resistance.
Has anyone figured out a good way, other than just pitting it against a bunch of mobs with magery?
It seems to raise painfully slow just fighting monsters.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Macro casting clumsy on it. Make sure you tell him to stay a few times, also I like to disarm myself just to be sure I don't start firing arrows at it.

I'm assuming its okay to do this afk?

It will get up to cap pretty quick. I'd keep a bit of an eye on it. The bio might try and attack you. Once it's started it should be fine though. I believe from a rules standpoint afk is allowed in this case.
