Is there a place where one can find rideable packed lamas to tame or buy?

Hello,

You only get the ridable pack llama as a new character. You can, however, search around the woods of Town Center, and the major cities. There are sometimes a few wild ones running about.

You can also PM me, I have a quite a few of them. It might take me a little time to get back to you as I play pretty sporadically.

If you create a new character on your account (your account can have 5 characters) the new character will have a ridable pack llama. Release, log in with your main character, tame.

After 7 days (I think) you can delete the character and create a new one. The new one will have a ridable pack llama. Repeat until you have a fleet.
