Let me start by saying I'm no computer wiz, I know where the on/off button is and that's it. My hubby knows a bit more but isn't very techy either. Anyhow, I have convinced him to play and, as it turned out, he had tried UOEX a year or so ago and still had the program on his computer. When trying today he said his frames were so bad it made the game unplayable. So, I ask those of you in the know how can this be fixed? His computer is about three yrs. old and he has no problem running games like Guild Wars 2. Is it because we each have UOEX installed? We were not online at the same time but is there anything special needed for us to play together?

*EDIT: We figured it out. His monitor resolution needed adjusting for UOEX.

Are you both playing on the same computer? Also, is he using the 3d client on his game? I am not a wiz either but the second seems more likely based on what you have told us. Uoex does not support the 3d version. Anyone else have ideas?

Nope, we both have our own computers and both play in 2D. He is doing some yardwork right now but when he comes in I'll have him check his screen resolution. I'm wondering if that could be it.
