I am desperately trying to get either UOAM or UOMap on Steam to work.


If I launch UOAM (Even with Firewall Disabled) It is Unable to Connect to UpdateAce Server.

If I click UOMap in Steam, all I get is a blank white window. (I tried a fix I found in the forums by adding some copied .mul files, but still nothing by white map window.)

Any help to get either of these to work, will be greatly appreciated.

After several hours of trial and error, I can get UOAM to open. But the map is black. Only shows Markers, no land masses.

Finally got it to work! Crisis averted.

What was the solution?

I had UOAM set to look in C:\Downloads\UO for the map files.
But as it turns out, I had to put the entire directory in: C:\User\hp\downloads\UO

That combined with making the copies needed for UOEX to distinguish between Tram and Fel.

also must make sure you run as admin

if you get it working and can see the map but its not the correct location go to brit bank and then chance the world to tram. then go some place and the map should change and follow you.
