I have wondered about this also so I asked/looked around and this is what i have gathered.

There are peerless bosses in fel that drop them.

Note that I have yet to venture to fel and dont know what a peerless boss is but thats what people seem to be saying

Recipies are dropped from Peerless. Dreadhorn is one and he is in The Twisted Weald in Ilshenar (access thru the Mushroom Cave) and another Peerless is Travesty which can be accessed through The Citadel which can be accessed thru a portal inside a little fishing hut in Tokuno. Both of these bosses require gathering certain items to summon forth the bosses, Deadhorn 6 and Travesty 3. They both have their unique "troubles" and are not for the new or the weak of heart as Dreadhorn is protected by very Dread Spiders and Travesty is by Assasins and Mages and a Citadel that doesnt let out its secrets too easy. Good luck if you want to try it and maybe you'll see me there as I hunt each place frequently.

As far as Paroxymus, Shimmering Effusion and Lady Melisade are concerned, I am sure they drop recipies as well but I have little experience with them and they do reside in Felucca.

Thanks for the info! I did Dreadhorn with Devilman for the first time. Seems pretty easy to survive with good pets and a good weapon. Got a recipe that I already have. LOL
