Can't seem to solve this one, i've tried:
- compability modes
- i always run the game as admin anyway (UOS, EUO, tried client itself as well)
- windowed/fullscreen makes no difference
- reducing CPU usage from UOS on/off
- adjusting performance and appearance settings in Win11
- running mouse on separate thread on/off in UO settings
- auto hide taskbar

Disabling visual themes/desktop composition seems to have worked for Win7/8/10 with similar issues but there's no such option in Win11 as far as i can tell...

I find this flickering mouse very annoying.

In game if you turn off under options "run mouse in a separate thread" solved my flicker since windows 11

Unfortunately that just introduces another problem for me. It makes the mouse stop flickering but it becomes very unresponsive and laggy

I use win 11 also. The mouse is not as good as in windows (outside of UO) but it is almost as good. Moving it slow, it flickers. Moving it fast, it disappears for a split second. The game is decades old and even with patches they never seemed to fix the mouse issue.

Still playable and not really noticeable to me at least.

My only solution so far, is to set up a virtual Windows 10 machine to play UO on.
I am still searching for a fix in Win11
