is there a faq or guide anywhere? Got a couple critters id liek to try breeding, but the breeder guy doesnt do anything or say anything, he has buy and sell tabs, and when i klik buy nothing pops up or happens. If there is some sort of an explination on what to do etc, could someone point me at it? Search didnt turn up anything, i even tried to find the scripts for this online with no luck thx in advance!

You have to level your pets up to the level that is required to mate a pet (Level > 9). After they reach the level you have to have two of the same Breed pet and one of each gender, for obvious reasons. Then, single left click one and click "Mate this pet..." and then target the pet of the opposite sex. You should be prompted with a gump. Just read it and click okay. To claim you pet it will cost anywhere from 2,000 - 5,000 (or so) gold per pet.

aye, it did, it took me a bit to figure out the level up part' click on the pet and select NPC info. now, next question, it gives you points, ability points, what effect do these points have on the baby if any? Is hit points etc all just a random thing, or do they actually pull from their parents attributes?

I believe there is a basic formula for all stats that a pet baby receives, even MaxLevel. The basic formula seems to be something like this:

BABY.PROPERTY = ( ( PARENT1.PROPERTY + PARENT2.PROPERTY ) / 2 ) + Random(1, 3)

Meaning, the baby gets the average of both parents plus 1 to 3 extra points. It's all explained here: Animal Breeding

wiki huh? always shuned anything that said wiki.. isnt that something like a witch? do i get bad karma if I go there? guess there is no time like the presant if it contains info i need. wish me luck!
