I think the only armor that is really sold here is Platinum, and prices are instable there.

It's a matter of stats, really. This is a powerplay shard, skilling is easy and so is making money. Why would anyone bother buying an inferior piece of armor when there are better ones availible.

I get it completely. This shard is getting a great influx of new players (which is awesome..btw), and it's already populated by plenty of older players who give away lots of armor that is sub-pristine (aka...not top tier/top dollar armor...but more than enough to survive most Tram dungeons), which is also awesome. Except, like in your case, when you are trying to start a means of income based on the value levels below the best type of material. This is the "curse" of playing on a well established shard, or really any MMO that has been around for a while. I still remember when I played Asheron's Call, and made a mint off selling Mattekar Coats...right up to the point when everyone and their brother had 5.

If you want to work toward becoming the best blacksmith on the shard, I suggest you adopt a collection of income techniques. You could hunt for cash and do escorting. You could start up a commodities vendor full of items people use daily. You could ask around for items that people need but take time to make, making your money off those who don't want to waste the time making the item but are willing to overpay a bit in the interest of time (e.g. full potion kegs, bulk bottles, bulk leather, bulk blank scrolls,etc...). You can sell the crafting material you get from raising your resource gathering skills (lumberjacking, mining, fishing...). You can do bulk order deeds towards making a complete +3 blacksmithing suit, while selling off any other items you get from the rewards...and yes, organics...

The great thing about this shard is, there are alot of methods for gaining wealth. Also, your character doesn't have to be good at a few skills, he can be good at EVERYTHING. No collective skill cap, only individual cap of 120 (130 on combat skills), and the crafting skills can go higher than that with the crafting gear and crafting hammers you get from doing bulk order deeds.

No limits if you are creative and driven. Discouragement is the enemy... =)

i was buy my horselord about 225k 2 almost 2 3 weeks ago, and saw a lot of wendors sell it 250k and above. yesterday i readed in public chat someone selling it about 90k and another one sell almost same price. Also sword of prosperity (200 luck sword) price drop i see on a wendor 90k. i think Veterran players drops prices, its gone badly, Also doom artifacts need to be edited.

There's also Bulk Order Deeds. Lots of stuff there that players want.

Another great way to sell smithy armor is to take custom orders. There are always players looking for a suit that has certain stats. You can charge a premium for this kind of thing because of the work involved. I did this in my guild (before it died off) with tailoring and made decent gold.
