Changing game icons

I somewhat learn how to change out graphics in game. I like to know if I'm aloud to change the tree graphics. I have found a nice idea to make all the trees in game look as tho they have been cut down. To what I'm talking about here is a link

that's an old school mul. but be really forwarned. the stump mul glitches especially if the server has custom scripts, and you'll crash a lot. this isn't a pvp shard so why would you want to have the trees changed? i mean i use it to run away from people or split groups of people up so i can take them heads up. yeah hitting a rock really bums you out if there are 10 people chasing you. lol.oops forgot i used it to reduce lag in bucs den. ah well. that was the good old days.
