BREEDING

Post by Rock »

I have several questions about breeding.
1. If I have several levels pets, which is the best combination for the next generation? For instance, both parents are in the same level? Or one parent in level 1 and other in much higher level? i.e. 4+4 or 7+1, which one is better?
2. Can the aptitudes be inherit to the next generation? If is so, it takes the average of parents?
3. Any relationship between Intelligence and mana? It seems that it make sense to increase the mana but not the intelligence.
4. For magic resist and anatomy (it seems no use) to pet, how to train it?
5. If I colored a pet, can I reset it to default?
6. Beside release, any better way to unbond a pet?

1) Can be answered by the wiki, link below
http://www.uoex.net/wiki/Pet_Breeding

2) I believe each baby will have the same abilities of its parents. (STR DEX INT MANA STAM etr.)

3) I don't believe there is a link when it comes to pets.

4) Both are useful, Train resist same as you would for yourself (By casting clumsy) and anatomy is automatically used in combat to increase your damage (up to 65% at 120), this will raise on its own as your pet fights.

5) The babies will be default colour.

6) You could have another player open the pet from shrunk, that would unbond it, then either shrink and give back to you or just transfer it.

Someone chime in if i'm a bit off on any of these answers, but i think they are pretty good.

FYI--> Read the wiki, lots and lots of questions answered there.

Thanks for your advice. I am appreciated it.

BTW, I have more question on breeding.
1. It seems that the statistic on resist/ AR, str, dex and int cannot inherit to next gen, right? Therefore, I should spend the ability points to hits, sta and man.
2. Ignore the at track, if both any pets (IMP or dragon) have the same statistic and resist, their defend is the same?
3. If a bonded pet die, it is 25% to drop all the stat or one of the stat?
4. My character magic resist is 100. However, my pet's magic resist can only be trained to 77.8. Any reason?
5. For some skill, it reveals "--". What means?

I will appreciated if some veteran can give me some hints.

Thanks in advance.
