Question about sunglasses

Just curious about the donation bonus sunglasses... so it says this:

"They can be equipped and are blessed. Can even be used used to make
earrings of your choice to look like sunglasses so you can have function
and style with the same item (the two items are merged into one) "

So does this mean that they sit on the same slot? Or are they seperate slots? To make the earrings look like sunglasses do the glasses just have the ability to like 'relayer' the earrings for free? Or will they then take up both glasses and earrings slot?

Basically my intention is to get a pair... make my relayered earrings into sunglasses then relayer something else to my earring slot again... is this possible?

Basically I am asking do they give you an "extra" slot on your character?

The sunglasses as you get them, are actually earring slot. To wear them by default, you need to take off your earrings.

But, for most players this would be somewhat useless, having to sacrifice earring bonuses for style. These sunglasses have an option of transferring their appearance to earrings. So they also function as a "deed to make your earrings become sunglasses". Or you can keep them as they are, and wear them on special occasions

So, they do not give you an extra slot.
