Excelsior

So, Im trying to get razor to work with Excelsior...I have ran the Registry file thing that is Razor how to folder in the client I downloaded from the site...I originally had it in my D drive, now I've moved it to my C drive...I have all the settings correct in razor (Data directory, server, etc) as verified by both other players and a GM. But whenever I try to play WITH razor I get stuck at the "VERIFYING ACCOUNT" screen and it wont let me login. I can logon just fine without razor...Can anyone help? I'd greatly appreciate it!!

Just in case its needed, here is some additional info:

Razor version: 1.0.0 (tried the new one and it did the same thing)
OS Version: Window's Vista
Client Version (from the one I downloaded): 5.0.9.1

make sure the path is correct for the client on the welcome page. also make sure that the address is correct.

Yes, make sure the server address in razor is correct

Address: shard.uoex.net, port 60

The server is correct, and for the client path I have done auto detect 2d AND I've selected the client manually through browse. I've tried the short cut on my desktop that is labeled "Excelsior Free Shard" and I've also go into the game folder and selected the one labeled "Client". I have my razor and the game installed in my C:\\Programs folder. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both, and still it hangs up at verifying account if I open up razor and try to log on with it.

Here is a copy of my razor welcome screen, maybe it'll help.

I've done that. I've done the auto detect and I've selected the client file manually.

You misunderstood. Do not use auto detect. Browse and select the client file in your excelsior folder.

I've done that....thats what I meant by "manually". I did auto detect when the GM that was helping me suggested it, and it didnt work. I've done browse and selected the client file and it didn't work.

Ahh darn that was my problem for a while, other than that the razor settings appear to be correct. You're running as admin too I assume.. The only other possibility it could be is an incorrect path for the UO Data Directory.

I got it working! As a final attempt, I reinstalled the NEW razor (I had only tried the older version of razor after I uninstalled and reinstalled it all on my C: drive) and it worked with the new razor! Weeee. Thanks everyone for your help.

I also have a problem with using razor. I used the provided registry files. However, I believe, those are different for 32 and 64 bit systems and I am under Win 7 64. Are there instructions out there for 64 bit systems?
Another question I have, is that I also play on OSI which is a separate install from Excelsior. Will applying those registry entries screw up razor for OSI client?

the registry file is for vista/win 7. if you are using xp i'm sure you can use it without the updated registry file. also i might suggest changing the registry file to stop any updating (why fix something that isn't broken).
