Interesting Question

An interesting question was just presented on global chat...
Sylvani's Feywood Bow can obviously be crafted and lvled @ 3 points per, however, this bow can also be purchased in Heartwood. Is the purchasable bow coded to lvl as crafted or looted?

Can't craft it. The main ingredient doesn't dorp, pord, rodp; well it won't reside in the belly of Cheif Paroxysmus upon his death!
Ho, and both special moves (force arrow and serpant arrow) are not working on this server, so elven longbow is not the best choice IMO.

I bought the Faerie Fire Bow and it was 5 points per lvl.
You would have to craft the item to make it 3 points per. Mischief Maker and Night Reaper those you can craft.

D'oh! Just noticed this in fletching-tool gump.
The moral of this story though is that buying the bows listed in the fletching gump (the proper-noun ones at least) from Heartwood allow for 5 points per lvl, while their craftable counterpart (albeit hypothetical in some cases) lvls for 3 per. Thanks for the confirmation Reese.
