Is this a good candidate for my first weapon level deed? If so what should I work on first?

Personally, I would invest in a Hit Spell or levelling up what's already on there.

it's a nice starter bow. soon enough though, two of the mods will be completely useless for you. GoC boots and tunic have alot of FC and FCR, and almost all advanced players tweak their suit to get 220 dex for almost insta bandages. Once you get there, your ssi and your faster casting mods will be worthless. Lower defence and mana leech are the two most important mods imo, but hit lightning or fireball would be a better 3rd mod, as you could have dbl hit spell (leveling either lightning or fireball depending on wich you already have). Also, sc would be an other desirable mod as it would save you a 100 eds sc scroll. To finish, remember that a crafted weapon will give you 300 xp points while a looted weapon gives 500. Not to mention that the highest intensity a crafted will have is 50% while looted goes up to 58%

very decent starting bow. as a less experienced player stamina leech is important as it will allow you to shoot faster at a longer pace. also, helps you just in case you gotta jet and you'll plow through the mobs. faster casting came with the bow correct? i would start with hit lightning first due to umms that you may run across in fel. also get the mana leech up to at least 50% to replenish your special armor piercing attack. spell channeling is not necessary as long as you make a razor dress macro. ssi is nice for a starting bow allows you to shoot faster. once you hit about 200 stamina you'll shoot at about 1.25 shots/sec. seeing that this is used for distance killing i do not recommend things like Reflect Physical Damage. actually crafted items get 297 points as you do not get 3 points for level 1 and you only get 495 points for looted items for the same reason. hit lower defense is at a nice level seeing cap i think is at 45 (i wouldn't waste the 1 point).

oh yeah ps. there are only 2 yumi's that are a looted bow: hanzo and horselord. all others are either crafted or weapon changed.
