Hi all, i tried to download the expatcher , i were directed from the marble-link ingame at the townsquare.
The homepage in my browser opened as it should, but when i clicked the link to download the patcher.exe i was redirected to a completely other side, not to the download, so my question is, is the download page down or can i download the patcher.exe elsewhere ?

This is due to the recent website reconfiguring, I have fixed it right now so best if you check again every few hours.

You shouldn't get redirected to a whole new site though, it should just give you an error saying that the website doesn't exist. So, if you got redirected to a website with a lot of ads, it's probably that you have somesort of a computer worm or possibly one of those "friendly advanced search toolbars", which display advertisements if a site cannot be found by your browser.

Edit: downloaded expatcher.exe and let it update the game, what it did. Restarted the game then, but the globe ingame isn't spinning, what can be the problem ?

I am getting the same thing so far on win7 unit... dl'd patcher, globe remains stationary. ???

When I try and download the patcher I get a block with Avast. Is this a false positive I assume?

Same for me on Win7 OS.... anyone have any ideas??

My friend and I just started on this shard and we tried running the expatcher,exe link here. One of us got a trojan message and the other got an error when trying to run the file once downloaded. I've poked around on forums and wiki but can't find much information on this. Is there a way get the patcher somewhere else or a location for the updated files? Any help would be greatly appreciated

i think there is a way to get the files and put them in manually.

Hmm ..had gotten that already but in TC there is a globe that is supposed to do something if patched correctly....it just sits there for me so thought I missed a file somewhere. Maybe I am just crazy. Thank you for answering though community here so far has been super nice.

I have the file if you would like me to e-mail it to you. It is virus free, I work in the computer field so I know how important it is to have clean files. PM Jamkul in game and we can chat, usually in the evenings after 6pm Eastern time.

Hmm, I have done all that stuff myself and STILL the globe wont turn! Everything else seems OK though so I suppose I can live ^^
