Levelable Weapons - Do they get more powerful?

Hi All,

I am on level 19 of a levelable weapon and just wanted to know if it gets more powerful and if so when should I start seeing some changes to the weapon?

Click your weapon once and click the information on the tab that pops up.... You have to add the points to your weapon to increase its abilitys or add more
