Help! Item Appearance Change Deed....HELP!

Hello All,

I wanted to change a Headband of Power into something else and caused the item to disappear! I looked everywhere for it and I cannot find it. Did I do something wrong?? Please help.

My guess is after you used the deed and selected the item you wanted changed, you then clicked the same item again as the sample. As stated in the message that comes up, you have to click on a sample item that is in your inventory to destroy and change the first item to. If you want a headband of power to look like a full helm, you have to double-click the deed, then the headband, then the sample item to change the headband to...so any full helm you have in your inventory to sample from. All sample items are destroyed in this process.

If you page in game with the time it happened, I can make sure Colibri sees the page. If you need another headband to wear until the issue gets addressed, I can give you the name of a player that would be willing to give you a headband.

As I Haven't gotten around to re-ID'ing or relaying things yet, I am Glad to read this post before I might have made the same mistake. To avoid things like this in the future, could someone make a nifty little "How to: Relayers" section in the forums/wiki? I would if I knew how ... wait, let me start a new thread

No offense to the original poster, but when using one of these deeds it gives you brutally simple step by step instructions. Only not reading them would cause you to have a problem. The original poster has posted many time having experienced problems with a variety of simple tasks. Not sure what's up there.
