ED Excelsior dollars?

I was told in game that in order to buy a druid spell book i would need to use ED (Excelsior Dollars?)in trinsic. How do I get ED and where in trinsic do i spend them? Thanks

Donate to the shard, or purchase them from other players. Access to the ED room is in Trinsic through the portal near the bank.
