There are plenty of spots available. You may have to do a bit of facet hopping and running around, but there are plenty out there.

Luna and Magda Luna normally have space available.

Magda seems to have quite a few spots if you're willing to search long enough and have the persistence to keep trying to place a house over and over until it is finally accepted. I know for a fact there are some places outside Umbra (Malas) to the north east where a small villa can be placed.

the desert in tram ... and malas off orc fort 6 ... theres room there lil hunting to find awesome spot.... i've been looking for somewhere to place a castle lol any ideas

I'm still looking for castle spots, but I was able to place a stone keep in magda. there is a castle near the griswald ruins in malas, but when trying to place a house there you get a "housing is not allowed here" notification. I'm guessing you can place there if you pay the cost to have a GM assist you?

actually i don't know that u can place there at all. i have tried having gm place houses there and no luck regard less of other houses being there i think you used to be able to have housing there but not anymore cause there is room all over that area. sorry man. well to be more specific i tried having my combined houses moved there and was told cant place houses there. it really makes me wonder why others have been allowed to place there in past.

PS. also there are some players that like to buy housing areas for nothing more than selling the lot later or they have 10 plus lots of flax from the days of illegal afk money making some of these scumbags may sell you a lot but it will surely cost your soul lol some even pronounce their wealth in some sort of attempt to make it seem like their property is worth more lol cause "they don't need the gold" ..... so that being said it maybe very hard to place a castle without great effort but still do able

A month ago I was able to place 2 castles. I took both of them down and gave the lots away (for free). It just takes some time. If I was you I would go thru a bunch of the housing gates and run around.

Although I haven't found any castle sized plots on Trammel, there are some single and medium sized spots gone unnoticed. Check the perimeter of mountain chains or along the water front.

It is a good idea to carry a house placement tool and have enough gp in the bank to at least claim the plot. I gave away my 2story villa in favor of going custom. The ready-made 2story villa is a square and I was unable to find anything that could accommodate it.

I noticed a few place in the cluster of peninsulas North West of Vesper.

If you are a hermit, there are a few places deep in the forests. Look at the maps for circular open areas in the trees.

Remember, if you find a much better place, you can have 2 houses or tear down and build on the new location.

I was able to place a castle yesterday in Malas. There was advertisement for a new vendor and I simply went north and found enough room for not only a castle but an 18x18 right next to it. Although I'm broke now, it was worth it!
