Question: Relayer Shields and Parry with Bushido

Hi all,

i know it's still far in the future, but i have a question to change the items on this shard with ED.
I heard it is possible to change the type of an item... so an 2h weapon to an 1h weapon.

Is it also possible to take a Shield its Parry-Ability by switiching it into an Torch for example ? So that the Shield won't block any further ?

I'm asking beause if i understood it right, the chance to parry with a shield, while having a high bushido skill, is going back to zero again.

Would you care to share the source of that? Because the 2 topics I found say otherwise - bushido reduces your shield parry chance.*

*may not apply to 1-h ranged weapons, since it checks for weapon type first and there is no mention of shield in ranged weapon parry calculations. No one ever thought of 1h ranged weapons while writing the code. Unless +Coli tinkered with it more than we thought.
