Quick question:
I'm a Bard/Archer and I wear a nice 4 piece set of leather armor that I bought for 20k (lol, I tell everyone about the great deal I got) With my jewelry, I have almost 70 resists in everything. The armor also has a self repair proc on it. The armor is great for archery, but if I wanted to take up an axe or a sword, would I need to get some valorite chainmail or something? or would this leather protect me well enough, since I have almost all 70's? Are there hidden perks to wearing metal armor, or am I good to go with what I have?
Thank you
Armor (Armour) question
Re: Armor (Armour) question
You should be fine with the armor you have. Metal armor typically have higher resists, but unlike with leather armor they aren't medable (so you regain mana slower).
Re: Armor (Armour) question
Indeed, leather (or metal with Mage Armour bonus) is where it's at.
A full set of ethereal can usually be picked up cheap enough and from what I have seen, even some of the junkier parts are pretty high on resists.
Best bet is get the resists sorted, and then start looking for better parts that have what you need and change them one by one.
