I have perused the forums and explored the wiki but I have not seen anything really related to ship building besides a light mentioning of the ability to do so.
What do I need to do to get started besides Grade A logs?

A carpentry tool I believe.Been quite some time since i checked tho, so may not be correct.

Not much magic in there - a carpentry tool, some regular boards, cloth, grade A boards and a crate. Ding! Your insta-ship deed is done.
