Thought it would be a nice thing to know

Portal Map, that drops from Slaarion in Labyrinth, gives you a chance to buy various items with elven notes and here's a list and cost of each item:

Imprisoned Ferret (in a crystal) - 500 elven notes
Imprisoned Squirrel (in a crystal) - 500 elven notes
Crystal Token - 1000 elven notes
Crystalline Ring - 10 000 elven notes
Ethereal Reptalon - 20 000 elven notes

- Crystal Token will turn into a crystal deco item of your choice (crystal throne/altar etc.).

- Crystalline Ring is an artifact ring, good for mage-type players. Also drops from Shimmering Effusion in Prism of Light.

Statistics:
- Magery +20
- Focus +20
- Hit Point Regeneration 5
- Mana Regeneration 3
- Spell Damage Increase 20%

- Ethereal Reptalon is an ethereal mount with the appereance of a Rent (found in Labyrinth). Takes 1 pet control slot.

Please, correct me if any information above is incorrect.

You're right about it being a ring. Not sure about it being good. Seeing as though it is "Magery/Focus +20", not "Magery/Focus Bonus: +20" Which means it will only bump you up to your max skill level and not above. A quick search of the vendors site pops up with many rings that are better and far cheaper.

I do agree, it ain't that good...

I use that ring. It has 20% SDI. Crafted doesn't go that high and I've yet to see a looted that high, pretty sure they cap at 12% (anyone?). If you're intentionally maxing SDI, then it's an awesome ring

Most people are gonna need Dex / Str jewels. SDI comes into play in the relayer phase.

I'd sacrifice the 8 SDI for 8 Int, 18 LRC, 8 LMC, 2 FCR and 1 FC of a looted or crafted ring.

Sol plays a pure mage, so I could see how SDI would be the most important to her.

Are you still limited to only buying one thing per portal map before it poofs?

Too bad you can only buy one thing per map, I've got a pile of elven notes I'd use on some imps, but killing Slaarion is so boring.

That's why it was changed to one item per map. Being able to buy 20 imps with one map devalued them even more than they already are.

Atm the elven note value vs. gold value for an imp is kinda same
