Hello all, I've tried a lot to cross-pollinate flowers to get these rare colors:

- Pink
- Magenta
- Aqua
- Fire Red

As far as I searched on the web, they should appear randomly, as mutant plants (such as white and black colors).

Note: to be able to generate mutants, you need to cross-pollinate the plant, if you leave them self-pollinating you will have zero chance to get mutants).

Could anyone please confirm if the generation of these colors (as mutants) is disabled on our shard?

The only colors able to be cross bred are black and white. You can obtain the other colors from doing the naturalist quest. Not sure where you got your info from that said they should be random mutants..... gotta love the internet

I have grown nearly every color of every type of plant and still have yet to get a black or white...

The mutant whites and balcks are like 1 in 100 chance of them becoming the mutant when you crossbreed it. I haveabout 4 or 5 types of white or black decor plants and seeds to grow a few others. But also if you get blessed with the mutants they do not produce pollen nor seeds so the 8 you get when it takes for mutation is only able to grow those for decor value. So if want more have to keep growing others and hoping they bless you again in different plant type. If anyone is interested I can post or pm lost of what mutants I have and willing to sell up to 6 of the 8 they produce at 50 k a plant prefer to sell as plant vs seed so its not turned to twigs as some not good at keeping up with.

Thank you very much Asmodean , this kind of confusion is what happens when you decide to do stuff way past your sleep time

Black seeds were only giving out on one of +Nyx's quests. I heard a staff member a few years back gave a couple people they "liked" some, but other than when +Nyx puts her quest up there is no other way to obtain the black seed. (Unless +Colibri has fixed which is not likely as it is not in the changlogs).

Dramoor I got some black seeds through cross-pollinating .
What if black mutations are harder to get? At least I got twice as many white mutations so far.
