Best place to level?
I'm looking for a good place to level. I currently level in deciet, but I see other people leveling their weapons faster than I could ever. Just hoping someone will take time out to show me around a bit. Thanks

Re: Best place to level?
In the end, it's all about the quantity and how fast you can wipe them all out. Whirlwind weapons are fastest, but momentum strike helps a lot with weapons without whirlwind. Naturally, auto-attack script with auto-armer script for either whirlwind or momentum strike will make the process faster as long as you don't run out of spawn.
Some players also use wraith form if the weapon doesn't have mana leech only to keep spamming that whirlwind when you don't have enough mana regen to keep up with it. So naturally, you lose mounted speed if you rely on wraith form, thus slowing you down.
As for a place, I do have a love/hate relationship with Deceit. It's probably the best place, but at the same time, it's very unlikely that you wouldn't need to share it with other players, which slows everybody down again. I'm excluding all other facets aside Felucca due to the double weapon exp in Fel dungeons and towns and also for those who can enter Mistvale, the spawn rate there makes it rather poor place to level weapons. One good pass by is Fel Minoc. It's quite fast to get to and also quite easy to wipe, but the respawn rate doesn't keep up too well, but it adds if you are close by, doing forget MoA, for example. Khaldun isn't far from Minoc, but remember that you need to walk back from there as recall/sacred journey are blocked in Fel T2A. While on T2A map, if you wish to, you could do some exploring there. Maybe hit the cyclopses and take a boat to get to Ice, which has some nice spawns too and the ratman area.
Naturally, there are other places as well, such as the Sanctuary, but it's easy to run low on spawn there and the mini-bosses can slow you down there. However, I wished to give you a direction and encourage you to get out there and try different places, maybe even some you haven't yet seen on this shard. That way you can find the place which fits you the best. I cannot stay long at the keyboard myself, so I have several hit-and-run places which only take 10-20 minutes to get to and wipe clean once or twice, so the respawn rates don't affect me that much. Sure, it takes days to level anything, but it's my way of doing it within the time I can sit down and play.

Re: Best place to level?
Shindaril pretty much hit it.
Plus, if everyone told you their areas, they would just become overcrowded like deceit is now, and then it would move on to the next best spot, and the next one, and the next one. Go explore. Find your own spot, where you can kill at a decent rate. Quantity > Quality.

Re: Best place to level?
The 2 places I leveled a lot were Fel Shame and Fel Wind. Shame does not get the traffic like Deceit does but you do have to beware of an occasional Abomination crashing the party. Starting on level 2, air, fire and water elementals are a quick easy kill while levels 3 and 4 have lots of mobs and opportunity. Just remember, if you die, its a long walk to the ankh at the dungeon entrance.
Fel Wind is an excellent place if you can survive the spawns. The city is populated with black mages which are easy to kill and they average about 100pts each, also vendors like in Trinsic and Britain are there but again, depending on who you are, you have to survive the guanlet of blood elementals, fire elementals, succubus, lich's, and ancient lich's to get there. The lower garden is even better imho but that is definitely an insta-heal kind of area. Everything in Wind aside from a few earth elementals should give you at least 100pts or more per kill and there is a lot to kill in there. Also, there is a rogue Balron running around as well and he is somewhere between a normal one and a paragon. There is a room full of daemons too but you don't need to go through them to get anywhere.

Re: Best place to level?
I've long needed a refresh in how I leveled weapons so tried out the above mentioned places and had a blast.
Thanks heaps for the tips!
Fel Minoc - elementals everywhere!!! respawn thins them out takes it from awesome to great.
Fel Shame - enjoyed this mostly the areas with mass wind elementals. Unlike Minoc you get all one type at once so they all die about the same time. Found getting around the mages house annoying as I got snagged on every chair leg.
Fel Wind - mages are really easy and good xp per, however they were not very dense and they often require teleport to get to. Blood elemental, and lich groups were better if you can handle them. garden was sparse? This is probably the best of the spots for newer guys if they can bypass the blood eles.
Khaldun - didn't really like this place. almost every enemy runs when critical hp. whirlwind them low and they scatter
Will do some more exploring tonight - would appreciate any suggestions on other fun places to go.

Re: Best place to level?
The garden was sparse? Maybe someone had been there not too long ago or something messed the spawn up or your and my definition for sparse is different.
I would never recommend a newer player to go down there unless it has turned into what you say. I must check it out. Anyways, I am glad you found some new places to go hunting and gain wep xp's at the same time. Happy Hunting!

Re: Best place to level?
*smiles* It's true that Khaldun isn't as good place as it could be, Nunja. Added it to there only because it's not far from the path from Minoc to Ice, Terathan Keep or Fire and it's a nice place to visit if only for once.
The sole point of giving few places to go, was to get others into exploring themselves and finding places where they wish to visit again. That path did include few points of interest for a purpose. If it would have been only one place, it wouldn't have been as...appealing, I'd guess.
