Hello everyone I played uo many many yrs ago just fancied playing again and choose this shard and so far loving it :) i'm after some treasure hunting help plz, is there a list somewhere that tells you which monsters have a chance to drop treasure maps ? Ive been following http://www.uoguide.com/Treasure_Map_Spawn but not sure how accurate it is for this shard and so far not been successful at all. TIA x

I've found the uoguide's list to be quite accurate, level 6 & 7 can be only acquired from a treasure chest (6's from level 5, 7's from level 6) and some monsters do not exist on this shard.

Just to clarify Gaara's post. Treasure chests also include the paragon chests. It's possible to get up to lv6 t-map from a high level paragon chest, but lv7 maps can only be gotten from a lv6 t-map chest and only from Felucca, even though the t-map found in such a chest can also be for Trammel.

Hi,

Relatively new here, getting into thungtin for the first time. Recomendations on what to hunt for Levl 4 and 5 maps? Also, does hunting in Fel provide more rewaards/gains? I've never played on the Fel side.

peerless bosses such as travesty and Lady Melisande are a guaranteed bet for a level 5 map, for level 4 maps, they drop off of lich lords, demons, poison eles, blood eles and similarly level critters. Another good way to get level 4-5 is to do lower level maps. Any treasure map chest has a chance at the next higher map inside, all the way up to level 6. to get level 7 and 8 maps, they will only be in fel maps from level 6 up. The only other advantage of fel maps is the chance of ointment drops from the mobs.
