Help with Chat Portal

First off, I can log into the game just fine. No issue with account name or password there. I can log into the portal just fine. The portal tells me chat is disabled until I select my primary character in the settings. When I select my character's name and click Save Settings, the portal logs me out and returns me to the login page. When I log back in, I find my settings weren't saved and chat is still disabled.

I was using Opera, so I downloaded and installed Mozilla with the exact same results. I haven't tried Chrome yet... I'm running Win7 (64 bit) Home Premium SP1, Core 2 Duo 2.66Ghz, 4GB Ram. If anyone needs any other pertinent details, let me know. This is really frustrating.

Edit: Tried with Chrome. Same exact :verymad: results.

I see that as an option for the Forum but not for the chat Portal...

If necessary, I can post screenshots of what I'm dealing with but I'm seriously on the verge of just giving up on the Portal. I mean, being able to look at past PM's isn't that important, right?

Looks like I'll be putting in a page for +Colibri and hopefully he can resolve my issue on the back end.

(I'm making this edit so if anyone else has this problem, the "solution" of sending +Colibri an email (ca@uoex.net) or paging in-game will be more visible. I'd also like to suggest the website for the Portal login page be edited to inform returning players of possible problems using the portal to avoid the frustration I had thinking I was doing something wrong.)

That's quite a research you've made! Yes, there's a bug, i have to go in and manually edit something in the database. I fixed it for you.

Mystic, I'd suggest you put in a General Help request using the in-game menu. That's probably the fastest way for +C to see you need help. Barring that, an email to the address provided above should also get his attention. Not that I blame him (probably VERY busy), but I doubt he browses the forum often.
