Razor issue maybe not.

Post by zollyanna »

I noticed today that in the UO Title bar that my counters are not working. I had to uninstall everything a week ago do to rearanging things on my computer, I was moving my games to my new HD and now notice that the counters are not there. I have everything set the exact same way that it was before I uninstalled it. The only other thing i can think of is that my razor is the newest and something is wrong with it, otherwise nothing else has changed. I don't play any other UO not even pay to play this is the only shard I have so that can't be it either. If anyone else has any insight into it please let me know thanks.

i just also noticed that if i use the teleporter one of my bags or pouches will open after I reappear. I know once upon a time long long ago in the before time all my bags used to open if I recalled or anything if I was using razor. But that hasn't happened in a long time. Not since i was on this shard anyway.

IF your using Vista or Windows 7 try changing the theme to classic windows...

the Aero made my windows flash white and also other problems... changing the theme to classic fixed my issues.

I'm assuming you are running Windows 7 as I had the same issue when I got a new computer. Follow these steps below and you should be able to see your counters again on the title bar.

You need to turn off Desktop Composition. To do this, make a shortcut to Razor, right click it and goto the Compatibility tab.. In this tab there is a checkbox that says "Disable Desktop Composition", make sure it is checked and start Razor from that shortcut.
